Reporting & Blocking
How to report a user or content
If you encounter something that violates our guidelines — whether it is a message, a profile, or an image — you can report it directly from the app.
To report a message:
- Tap and hold the message
- Select Report from the menu
- Choose a reason
- Add any additional details that help us understand the situation
- Submit
To report a profile:
- Visit the user's profile
- Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner
- Select Report
- Follow the same steps as above
To report an image:
- Open the image
- Tap the menu icon
- Select Report
You can report messages, profiles, and images. Every report helps us keep LEASH safe.
What happens after you report
Every report is reviewed by the LEASH team within 24 hours. Here is what you can expect:
- Confidentiality — the reported user is never told who filed the report. Your identity stays protected.
- Investigation — we review the reported content, the user's history, and any context you provided.
- Action — if the report is confirmed, we take appropriate measures: a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity.
- Notification — you receive a follow-up notification when your report has been reviewed.
We take every report seriously. Even if you are unsure whether something crosses the line, it is better to report and let us evaluate.
How to block a user
Blocking is immediate and gives you full control over who can interact with you.
From a conversation:
- Open the conversation
- Tap the menu icon in the top-right corner
- Select Block
- Confirm
From settings:
- Go to Settings
- Tap Blocked Users
- Search for the user and block them
What blocking does:
- The blocked user cannot message you anymore
- They cannot see your profile or interact with you in any way
- Existing conversations are hidden from both sides
- The blocked user is not notified that you blocked them
You can unblock a user at any time from Settings if you change your mind.
Content guidelines
LEASH has clear rules about what is and is not acceptable. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Harassment or threats — aggressive, intimidating, or threatening behavior of any kind
- Minors — all users must be 18 or older. Any violation results in an immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement
- Non-consensual content — every interaction on LEASH must be consensual
- Illegal activity — anything that violates applicable law
- Spam or fraud — fake profiles, scams, or deceptive behavior
These rules apply to all users equally, regardless of role.
