Spending Limits

What are spending limits?

Spending limits are self-imposed caps on how much you can spend on LEASH within a given time period. You set them yourself — no one else can change them for you. They exist so you can engage in the dynamic you enjoy while staying within boundaries that feel right.

Think of them as guardrails, not restrictions. They keep you safe without taking away from the experience.

Types of limits

You can configure up to three types of spending limits:

You can set one, two, or all three at the same time. They work independently — whichever limit is reached first will apply.

How to set a spending limit

1. Go to Settings in the app
2. Tap Spending Limits
3. Choose the limit type (daily, weekly, or monthly)
4. Enter the maximum Rose amount
5. Save your changes

Your limits take effect immediately. You can see your remaining budget for each active limit at any time on the same screen.

What happens when you reach a limit

Once you hit a spending limit:

• Tributes are blocked — you cannot send Roses until the period resets
• Subscription payments are blocked — any pending renewal that would exceed your limit is paused until the next period
• You receive a notification letting you know you've reached your cap

You can still browse profiles, read messages, and interact normally. Only outgoing payments are affected.

Changing your limits

You can increase or decrease your limits at any time from the same settings page. Changes take effect immediately. There is no waiting period or approval process — you are always in full control.

Why use spending limits?

Tributing is part of the experience, and it should feel good — not stressful. Spending limits help you:

• Stay within your budget without having to think about it in the moment
• Avoid impulsive decisions when the dynamic is intense
• Build trust with yourself by knowing you have boundaries in place

This is a safety feature. Using it is a sign of maturity, not weakness. The best slaves know their limits.
