What is the Gatekeeper Interview?
The Gatekeeper Interview is an AI-powered audio conversation that every slave completes during onboarding. Before you can browse Mistress profiles or send applications, the Gatekeeper needs to hear from you directly. It is the first real step in your journey on LEASH.
This is not a formality. Your answers matter. They shape how Mistresses see you before you ever write a single message.
Why the interview exists
Mistresses on LEASH are selective. They invest time and energy into their slaves, and they deserve to know who they are dealing with. The Gatekeeper Interview filters out time-wasters, tourists, and anyone who is not genuinely committed.
By completing the interview, you prove that you are willing to put in effort from the very beginning. That signal matters.
How it works
The Gatekeeper — an AI persona with a distinct voice — asks you a series of questions. You listen to each question as an audio clip and respond by recording your own audio answer.
The three mandatory questions cover:
- Your motivation — why you are here and what you are looking for
- Your experience — your background in the lifestyle, whether you are new or experienced
- Your limits — what you are and are not comfortable with
Based on your answers, the Gatekeeper may ask follow-up questions to dig deeper. These are dynamic — no two interviews are exactly the same.

What Mistresses see
Your answers are compiled into a Living Brief — a structured summary that Mistresses read when reviewing your application. It includes the key themes from your responses, giving them a genuine sense of who you are without having to listen to every recording themselves.
This means: the more honest and specific you are, the better your brief reads, and the more seriously Mistresses will take your application.
Tips for a good interview
- Be honest — Mistresses can tell when someone is performing. Authenticity stands out.
- Be specific — "I enjoy serving" says little. What does service mean to you? Give details.
- Take your time — there is no timer. Pause, think, then answer.
- Find a quiet space — background noise affects audio quality.
Practical details
- Languages: The interview is available in English and German. You can choose your language before starting.
- Duration: Most interviews take 5 to 10 minutes, depending on follow-up questions.
- Retries: You can re-record individual answers before submitting.
